| With the demise of Wellington Park as a meeting place, a new venue had to be found, and we tried the Velo Café in Croston, as a place to meet. This proved to be a success, and the butties and brews can be recommended, all freshly prepared to order. |

| Nine members turned up, which included one guest, and after re-fuelling on baps with suitable fillings and some even on a full English breakfast, time had crept on. It was decided that a “local” round trip would be in order. |

| We set off back to the A59 on to Southport via the Coast Road, on to the Formby By-Pass turning off at the Formby Business Park and heading over the “moss” through Great Altcar, eventually arriving at the Mairscough Lane. Some left the group there as we had to get back for “Father’s Day” meals etc. Three of us followed this road through Halsall, Scarisbrick, and back to the outskirts of Southport and home. |
